Vietnam in top 10 best countries for foreigners

According to the latest report Expat Insider - one of the world's largest expat surveys conducted by InterNations, has revealed a list of ideal destinations for foreigners with the most affordable costs in the world, including Vietnam.

The survey is based on satisfaction with quality of life (including travel, transportation, environment and climate, entertainment options, healthcare, and safety and security).

Ranked 8th on the list, Vietnam has a warm tropical climate, beautiful scenery, many pristine highlands, and long peaceful beaches suitable for relaxation and entertainment activities.

With a rich culinary culture, Vietnam has many famous dishes that are loved by international friends such as pho and banh mi. In addition, each region has its own diverse specialties. In particular, Vietnamese dishes are considered healthy and nutritious.

Affordable living standards, stable political situation and safe streets are also plus points for Vietnam to be included in this list.

Besides Vietnam, other Southeast Asian countries on the list are Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. These are all famous tourist countries with unique cultures.

According to this survey, the country that foreigners rated the most satisfied with was Panama. 82% of the foreigners surveyed said they were satisfied with their life and income here. Panama was also ranked as the 4th easiest country to get a visa in the world.

In addition to the 10 best countries for expats, InterNations also announced the top 10 countries where expats feel the least happy to live and work, including Kuwait, Finland, Canada, UK...

According to a survey, only 22% of expats are satisfied with social life in Kuwait. The country also has a harsh climate (summer temperatures can reach 50 degrees Celsius) and poor health care.
