The port city of Kaohsiung has become a new tourist center attracting millions of visitors to Taiwan (China).
Kaohsiung is a city located in the south of Taiwan (China). It is also the only place on the island that has a full view of mountains, sea, rivers and harbors. With its unique natural ecosystem and cuisine, in recent years, Kaohsiung has proven itself to be a promising new tourist center. The temple complex includes 8 stupas, 4 Chanh Giac Towers, 48 underground palaces, 8 heavenly palaces and tens of thousands of large and small Buddha statues. The statue is cast from 1,872 tons of bronze with a total height of 108m including the base.
