CNN reported that the 50 Best organization recently announced the list of the best hotels in the world in 2024. This result was evaluated by 600 experts working in the hotel industry worldwide.
Thailand's Capella Bangkok was named the top hotel. All of the hotel's rooms are spacious and filled with light. The riverside villas, in particular, feature private gardens and small pools, making this five-star property in Charoenkrung, Thailand's oldest neighborhood.
The original General Manager of Capella Bangkok Hotel - John Blanco shared: "When you set foot in Bangkok, you will feel this is a bustling place, but when you come to Capella Bangkok, visitors will feel the peace, tranquility, especially the garden with beautiful rows of trees full of birds".
In addition, three other Thai hotels also made it into the top 50 best hotels in the world: Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Four Seasons Bangkok and The Siam with positions 12, 14 and 26 respectively.
Coming in at number two on the list is Italy's Passalacqua Hotel, which is housed in an 18th-century villa that was once home to many Italian aristocrats.
Hong Kong (China) also dominates this ranking with 2 hotels in the top 10, which are Rosewood Hotel ranked 3rd and The Upper House Hotel ranked 5th.
Raffles Hotel Singapore is at number 6 and it is also one of the most famous hotels in Singapore.
