Forbes Travel Guide, the prestigious star rating system in the global travel and hospitality industry, has just announced the list of the world's leading hotels in 2025 at the Star Awards ceremony in February.
This year, of the 2,187 accommodation establishments mentioned, 350 hotels and resorts were rated 5 stars.
Of the 10 Vietnamese representatives, two hotels have achieved 5 stars and four other accommodations have achieved 4 stars. The 5-star rating is the highest ranking of Forbes Travel Guide, reserved for hotels that are "truly outstanding, iconic, with high-class service and amenities".
Capella Hanoi, a name appearing in the rankings for the first time, was commented by the American magazine's travel guide: "Every detail of this 47-room luxury hotel is designed according to the imagination of Bill Bensley, the talented architect who designed Capella Ubud in Bali and Shinta Mani Wild in Cambodia, among many other magical resorts."
Less than a 5-minute walk from the Hanoi Opera House and the Old Quarter, this hotel features unique Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture, recreating a lavish inn for famous artists and composers during the golden age of Opera in the 1920s. The hotel has a one-star Michelin restaurant and two Michelin Selected restaurants.

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, a household name, has achieved a perfect 5-star rating for 7 consecutive times in this prestigious ranking from 2019 to 2022. Located between the bustling city of Da Nang and the light-filled town of Hoi An, the resort is considered an idyllic hideaway on a pristine white sand beach.
Forbes Travel Guide introduces: "Soaring coconut palms, fragrant frangipani trees and vibrant lilies greet you. The space immediately brings a sense of peace and seclusion. The hotel's temple-like lobby, impressive tiered infinity pool, spacious luxury villas and a serene spa set around a lagoon filled with koi and lotus flowers."

Four other hotels in Vietnam were awarded four stars in this year's ranking: Park Hyatt Saigon, Regent Phu Quoc, The Reverie Saigon and Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.
In addition, this year, four other accommodations were included in Forbes Travel Guide's recommended list, including: The Grand Ho Tram Strip, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi and Pullman Danang Beach Resort.
