Hue invites visitors to enjoy hundreds of specialties in the "Culinary Capital"

    HUE - Hue opens the "Culinary Capital" program with many special activities to serve tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.

    From mustard rice, bun bo, banh xeo, nam, filters to spring rolls, pancakes, gourd bowl... each dish has a deep, elegant breath, imbued with Hue identity. With sophistication in processing, harmony in flavor, and elegance in presentation, Hue cuisine is not only a dish but also a story about the history, culture and people of the Ancient Capital.

    Director of Hue City Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram said that the "Culinary Capital" program is one of the events of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, aiming to promote Vietnamese cuisine, especially Hue cuisine, to tourists and people. The program contributes to preserving and promoting traditional values, while affirming the brand of "Hue - Culinary Capital", aiming to become a regular activity in the ancient capital.
    Chuong trinh cung la dip gioi thieu, thu nghiem nhieu san pham am thuc moi nhu du lich am thuc ve dem, du lich lang nghe gan voi mon an truyen thong… Qua do, tung buoc hinh thanh cac tour chuyen de am thuc hap dan, gop phan lam phong phu san pham du lich Hue.
    The program is also an opportunity to introduce and test many new culinary products such as night culinary tourism, craft village tourism associated with traditional dishes... Thereby, gradually forming attractive culinary-themed tours, contributing to enriching Hue tourism products.
    Diem nhan cua chuong trinh la trai nghiem trien lam am thuc 3D bang cong nghe AR va Hologram, kham pha khong gian da giac quan cua cac nhan hang. Du khach con duoc thuong thuc cac tiet muc nghe thuat, tham gia tro choi tai cac gian hang am thuc. Dip nay, So Du lich TP.Hue cung ra mat “Bo nhan dien Hue – Kinh do am thuc”.
    The highlight of the program is the experience of 3D culinary exhibition using AR and Hologram technology, exploring the multi-sensory space of brands. Visitors also enjoy art performances and participate in games at food stalls. On this occasion, the Hue Department of Tourism also launched the "Hue Identification Ministry - Culinary Capital".

    At nearly 70 booths, many regional specialties and OCOP products such as squid rolls, squid fish cakes, artichokes, fried sticky rice, Cu Lao Pho sticky rice cake... were presented by chefs from Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Dak Nong, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Da Nang and Quang Ninh.

    Visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy other unique delicious dishes from ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas of the Southeast (now Phu Loc), A Luoi and famous restaurants and hotels in the locality.

    The program "Hue - Food Capital" ended on May 2. The program offers many attractive activities such as promotions and displaying unique traditional dishes: Salted rice, Van Cu noodles, Hue beef noodle soup... performed by famous culinary artisans, including Hai Thi Tra, Nguyen Van Tich and Tran Thi Hong Loan.
