    Nguyễn Khánh Vũ Khoa (40 tuổi) sống ở TP HCM, từ một dân “tay ngang” trở thành nhiếp ảnh gia chuyên nghiệp, anh đam mê khám phá những góc ảnh đời sống từ thành thị tới nông thôn. Trung tuần tháng 3, anh lần đầu “săn ảnh” mùa hoa gạo ở miền Bắc. Cây gạo cổ thụ ở Hồ Gươm là địa điểm đầu tiên anh ghé đến.
    Nguyen Khanh Vu Khoa (40 years old) living in Ho Chi Minh City, from an "amateur" to a professional photographer, he is passionate about exploring the angles of life from urban to rural areas.     Hoa gạo hay còn gọi là mộc miên, pơ lang khi nở có 5 cánh lớn, dày cánh, màu đỏ tươi sau chuyển dần đỏ thẫm. Loài hoa được nhắc nhiều trong câu ca dân gian như “Tháng ba đom đóm bay ra, hoa gạo rụng xuống thì tra hạt vừng“; hoặc “Bao giờ cho đến tháng 3/Hoa gạo rụng xuống bà già đắp chăn“.

    Một địa điểm không thể bỏ qua khi tới mùa hoa gạo Hà Nội là khuôn viên chùa Thầy ở xã Quốc Oai, cách trung tâm thành phố khoảng 25km, chỉ tốn 40 phút di chuyển.
