On April 18, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches just announced information about the program "Opening Da Nang Sea Tourism Season 2026". This is an annual event held on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 holiday, to diversify sea tourism products and affirm the tourism brand of the city by the Han River.
With the theme "Radiant Summer", the event will take place for 9 days (from April 25 to May 3) in key areas: Bien Dong Park, Son Tra peninsula and My Khe, My An, Nguyen Tat Thanh beaches...
The highlight of this year's season is the combination of 14 traditional activities and 5 new activities, appearing for the first time such as: Da Nang Pizza Festival 2026, Experience the journey of making ice cream from Vietnamese rice, Beach Water Games, Sea Sports Performance and "Son Tra Walking Day" Festival.
The opening ceremony will officially begin at 5:00 PM on April 25th at Bien Dong Park. Immediately after that, visitors will admire the Flyboard art performance called "Ocean Dance" with the participation of two international athletes Jessica and Tommy. The performance gathers jet skis, sailboats, parasailing... promising to create a vivid picture on the sea surface.
In addition, southern beach areas such as An Bang, Cua Dai, Tam Thanh have also completed infrastructure, ready to welcome guests with a series of consecutive events such as "Sea Flavor Food Festival" (May) and "Summer Emotions" (July).
To prepare for the increased number of visitors, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches said that they have maximized rescue, security and order, and environmental sanitation.
Coastal service business units are also required to upgrade facilities, publicly list prices and redecorate business areas to create a synchronous and professional appearance. Public amenities such as freshwater baths, parking lots, umbrellas... have been reviewed to best serve people and tourists throughout the holidays.
The program is not only a welcome to the summer tourism season but also strongly responds to the "Da Nang - Touching the Original" stimulus campaign, contributing to positioning Da Nang as the leading destination for sea tourism in the Central region.
