According to a report from the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in the first two days of the holiday, the total number of overnight guests is estimated at about 110,000 (114% compared to the same period in 2023). International visitors reached 15,000 (123% compared to the same period in 2023). Total tourism revenue is estimated at 652 billion VND, equal to 134% compared to the same period in 2023.
Tourists to some localities: Ha Long 67,700 visitors; Mong Cai 22,000 visitors; Uong Bi 9,000 visitors; Van Don 22,000 visitors, Co To 2,000 visitors.
Number of tourists at some specific tourist areas and destinations: Ha Long Bay 16,963 visitors (international visitors 3,844); Sun World Park about 15,000 visitors, Quang Ninh Museum: 6,875 visitors, Yen Tu scenic relic site 1,356 visitors, Ba Vang Pagoda about 3,200 visitors, Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring area 1,010 visitors, Cai Chien island about 1,450 visitors. International visitors entering through Mong Cai border gate 3,544 visitors.
On September 1, Quang Ninh tourism continued to welcome many large tourist groups: MICE group of Tre Viet Tourism Company with more than 1,000 guests; Indian tourist group: 738 guests.
On September 1 alone, the total number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in Quang Ninh province was estimated at 161,000 (115% compared to the same period in 2023). Of which, the total number of guests staying was estimated at about 60,000 (120% compared to the same period in 2023). International visitors reached 7,388 (113% compared to the same period in 2023). Total tourism revenue was estimated at 370 billion VND, equal to 132% compared to the same period in 2023.
Room occupancy rate on September 1 at 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments reached about 80-100%.
