Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City will organize high-altitude fireworks at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city. Low-altitude fireworks will be set off at Dam Sen Cultural Park, Ward 3, District 11. The fireworks program will last 15 minutes, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.
The number of fireworks at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel includes 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks and 10 pyrotechnic fireworks (the type of fireworks that emit light, create light effects, eye-catching colors but do not cause explosions and are safe).
The fireworks display at Dam Sen Cultural Park has 90 low-altitude fireworks displays, 30 pyrotechnic fireworks displays, and 1,000 low-altitude and pyrotechnic tubes.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport announced traffic adjustments on a number of routes to serve activities celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and National Day September 2.
According to the announcement, vehicles are prohibited from circulating on Nguyen Hue Street (from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street), District 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on September 2, 2024.
In addition, to serve the fireworks display, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on September 2, the Department of Transport also prohibits vehicles from entering the streets in District 1. Details are as follows:
