The conference aims to promote the rich tourism potential of Bac Giang, Kinh Bac land with 2,237 relics, including 6 special national relics and 4 UNESCO heritages. The province also owns unique ecological landscapes such as Suoi Mo, Cam Son lake, Khe Ro forest, and Luc Ngan fruit orchard famous for the lychee tree.
Bac Giang aims to develop 4 main types of tourism: cultural - spiritual, ecological - resort, entertainment - recreation and community tourism associated with agriculture and craft villages.
At the Conference, Mr. Do Tuan Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang said that in 2024, the province will welcome 2.7 million visitors, achieving a revenue of about 2,200 billion VND. The province has organized many cultural and tourism events, digitized tourism publications, applied technology, and cooperated with many localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An and the Northeastern provinces to exploit tourism...

"Bac Giang invites investors, travel businesses and tourists to come to visit, learn, research and invest, as well as build unique and attractive tourism programs, with the messages Bac Giang Tourism - quintessential destination; Bac Giang - Green tourism destination of Vietnam", Mr. Khoa stated.
Within the framework of the conference, Mr. Do Tuan Khoa and Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Pham Van Thuy, representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association chaired the discussion and spoke to find bottlenecks and solutions to promote tourism in Bac Giang.
Ms. Dang Bich Tho - Representative of Phuong Hoang Tourism Company said: "Bac Giang is only about 100km from Hanoi, making travel convenient. However, tourism development in Bac Giang is still slow compared to other provinces.
Currently, tourists coming to Bac Giang only go to small locations, without any connection to tours or tourist routes. In particular, the strength of Bac Giang tourism is in the fruit season, but the time only lasts 4 months a year. Therefore, it is necessary to find tourism products in the remaining 8 months".

Ms. Tho said that to welcome domestic and international visitors, the province needs to focus on investing in adequate facilities and diversifying tourism products. At the same time, it is necessary to find a way to keep visitors staying longer, especially for international visitors instead of just traveling for a day. Since then, revenue from the tourism industry of Bac Giang province has had a clear growth.
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Thuy (Hanoi University of Culture) believes that in order to build a tourism brand in Bac Giang, it is necessary to clearly identify the market segment according to each customer group to develop suitable tourism products, avoid spreading resources, ensure efficiency and attractiveness.
"Every locality has similar tourist destinations. So, we must have different, unique highlights and kicks. It is necessary to build a Bac Giang tourism brand to ensure that tourists are covered by destinations, services, culture..., creating emotions and impressions for all tourists," said Ms. Thuy.
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Thuy said that Bac Giang has many famous destinations, especially spiritual tourism destinations. However, to gain more experience and characteristics, it is necessary to focus on exploiting all the cultural elements of the 20 ethnic minorities living in Bac Giang. That is a special highlight that makes Bac Giang interesting and rewarding for visitors.
