Mr. Nguyen Duc Phuong - Head of the Exhibition and Traditional Education Department of Quang Ninh Museum, said that the Department of Culture and Tourism of Quang Ninh in coordination with Quang Ninh Museum organized a thematic exhibition on the 70th anniversary of the Mining Area Liberation, focusing on 3 main contents including Exhibition of more than 250 documents and photos on milestones such as the mine Liberation on April 25, 2015, province establishment, socio-economic achievements, development orientation to 2030 and vision to 2050.
Exhibiting about 50 typical artifacts, first displayed to the public such as the original coal table of FCT, a company established in 1888. According to Mr. Phuong, usually, from April to September, the number of visitors to the museum reaches about 6,000 to 8,000 times a day. The number of visitors increased on weekends, especially in the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the mine area and 50 years of liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.
Mr. Phuong added that these days, the museum is organizing innovative regular exhibition activities and thematic exhibitions. At the same time, the museum also brings additional technology applications to increase interaction and experience for visitors.
