The Vietnam Military History Museum announced the collection of entrance fees from April 11, 2025. The ticket price is 40,000 VND/person/trip.
The subjects who are exempted from entering the Vietnam Military History Museum include: People under 16 years old, the elderly from 80 years old and above; War Invalids, people with revolutionary contributions; Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; Heroes of Labor; Soldiers, veterans, students of military academies and schools.

The subjects who will receive a 50% discount on visiting the Vietnam Military History Museum include: People with severe disabilities (as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the law on people with disabilities); Elderly people (as stipulated in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly, Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and over, with an elderly card or citizen identification card/other documents proving it).
Students, trainees, and students aged 16 and over with student and trainee cards issued by schools in the national education system in Vietnam will also receive a 50% discount on entrance fees.
The Vietnam Military History Museum is located in the area of Tay Mo and Dai Mo wards (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi), next to Thang Long Avenue, with an area of 38.66 hectares. The museum preserves and displays more than 150,000 artifacts, including four national treasures: two MIG-21 aircraft (numbers 4324, 5121), T54B tank (numbers 843), and the Determination to Fight map in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
The museum is open in the morning from 8am to 11:30am, in the afternoon from 1pm to 4:30pm, and closes every Monday and Friday.
