In order to continue implementing the policy of tourism and service development, gradually bringing tourism into a key economic sector, and organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (19.5.1890-19.2025), Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee issued the Festivalal Plan of 2025.
The festival is expected to be held for 5 days, from April 30 to April 4 at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh Yen city. The festival opens from 7am to 10pm every day.
The festival will have the participation of 30 hot air balloons. Including 13 hot air balloons for decoration; 10 models of heli gas pump hot air balloons; 4 decorative hanging hot air balloons, unmanned and 3 flying hot air balloons for human consumption.
Within the framework of the festival, activities will take place including the Vinh Phuc Hot air balloon Festival 2025; performing and serving visitors to experience hot air ballooning in the form of hanging flights.
In addition, booths will be organized to display, shop, and serve tourists; entertainment activities, art performances, and Carnival parades.
The cost of organizing the festival is about 15 billion VND, all from socialized sources.
The 2025 Vinh Phuc Hot Air Balloon Festival is a cultural event for people to enjoy cultural, entertainment and recreation services during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
This is also an opportunity for Vinh Phuc province and the business community to contribute to introducing and promoting the image of Vinh Phuc land and people, promoting local economic and tourism development, attracting a large number of people and domestic and foreign tourists to Vinh Phuc.
At the same time, it has been gradually built, affirming Vinh Phuc as a place to organize major cultural and entertainment events of the Northern region and the whole country, moving towards an international event.
To successfully organize the event, the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province requires agencies and units assigned to the task to unify, coordinate closely, flexibly, and prepare the necessary conditions to organize the Festival to ensure absolute security, safety, practicality, efficiency, and compliance with regulations to attract tourists, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people.
