The conference aims to introduce and promote Vinh Phuc province's destinations and tourism products and services to travel agencies, golf clubs nationwide, investors about the potential and advantages of tourism development in the province, thereby building a brand, connecting cooperation in developing Vinh Phuc tourism in the coming time.
The People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province also said that the locality is focusing on exploiting key markets in Da Nang city and the Central provinces, in order to contribute to the sustainable growth of domestic visitors.
At the conference, investors, travel businesses, and golf clubs in the two localities met and discussed investment cooperation and tourism development connections in the coming time. The conference is also a convenient bridge for Vinh Phuc tourism businesses to introduce products, connect with travel agencies, golf clubs and tourists from the Central region; an opportunity for Vinh Phuc to increase tourism promotion.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu - Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee said that the locality has approved the planning of 6 key service tourism areas and implemented many investment projects to build tourism infrastructure using state budget sources.
Currently, the province has a total of 40 large projects of investors and a number of investment projects in the tourism sector that have been granted investment licenses with a total registered capital of over VND 21,162 billion, of which VND 11,336 billion has been implemented, reaching 55% of the committed capital.
In recent years, Vinh Phuc tourism has had many positive changes, gradually becoming an important economic sector.
However, to develop more strongly and sustainably, we identify connecting and cooperating with major tourist centers such as Da Nang as a strategic direction, cooperation, cohesion and complementing each other for mutual development.
Therefore, we hope that through this program, tourism businesses in Da Nang City will work with the locality to increase information exchange, promote typical tourism products, and coordinate in organizing affiliated tour programs.
The conference also created conditions for tourism businesses from both sides to meet, cooperate, share markets and customers, learn tourism management models, improve service quality, and train human resources" - Mr. Hieu said.
Vinh Phuc welcomes more than 10.6 million visitors in 2024 with more than 90,000 international visitors, a clear testament to the growing attraction of this destination. At the same time, Vinh Phuc is gradually affirming its position as an attractive destination on the tourism map of Northern Vietnam.
