Responding to this issue, Mr. Pham Quoc Hung - Director of the Statistics Department of Binh Thuan province said that it must be recognized that since the expressways through Binh Thuan were put into operation, it has been very convenient for tourists to travel.
Regarding data, the statistics department has investigated and compiled statistics every month. By the end of the year, there will be additional statistics from businesses. As for international tourist data, the Statistics Department gets it from the police.
The Binh Thuan Provincial Statistics Office confirmed that the data was from a professional investigation, not from manual counting or data provided by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province.
The above number of tourists has brought Binh Thuan revenue from tourism activities estimated at 25,826.5 billion VND, an increase of 15.77% over the previous year.
