According to the announcement from Phan Thiet City People's Committee, Phan Thiet Food Street will be held on a pilot basis in September 2024. This is an activity aimed at building a night-time economic development model suitable to the advantages and practical conditions of Phan Thiet. Thereby introducing and promoting traditional culinary tourism of Phan Thiet to domestic and foreign tourists.
Food Street 2024 will be held on Tuyen Quang Street, Phan Thiet City, the section from Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to Thu Khoa Huan Street is about 300 meters long. Operating hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday.
It is expected that there will be 50 - 100 booths participating. And divided into areas: Food street with food stalls and OCOP products of Binh Thuan; The area focuses on introducing typical local dishes (cargo shops, street vendors, stalls...) following the countryside market model...
