The coastal road project extends from Tran Quoc Nghien Street (near P4 of Bai Chay Bridge) through Binh Minh Bridge to Bang Bridge, with a total length of about 7.4km, passing through Hong Gai Ward and Cao Xanh Ward, and is expected to start construction in December 2025.
The total investment of the project is about 2,590 billion VND, from the budget of Quang Ninh province.
According to the design documents, the road is built according to the standards of a level I urban road, with a scale of 6 lanes, a design speed of 60 km/h, a roadbed width of 40 m, including 23 m of road surface, a median strip between 2 m and sidewalks on both sides of 15 m.
The route has 2 main intersections, including: the intersection with Tran Thai Tong Street at Km0+000 and the intersection with Tran Phu Street at Km7+410 (the area near Bang Bridge).

The project also builds a new bridge over the deep water area from Km0+135 to Km0+516, about 380 m long, with a reinforced concrete structure; at the same time, expanding the 3 existing canal overpasses at Km0+800, Km2+450 and Km3+200 with a total length of about 115 m.
One of the highlights of the project is the 5 stops to see Cua Luc Bay designed outwards to Cua Luc Bay. Of which, one location that took advantage of the infrastructure was previously constructed by Company 507, and the remaining 4 new locations will be built synchronously, creating a space for sightseeing and serving tourists.
The project to build a coastal route extending from Tran Quoc Nghien Street (near P4 of Bai Chay Bridge) passing through Binh Minh Bridge to Bang Bridge aims to gradually complete the transport infrastructure system according to the approved plan, forming a smooth, synchronous, modern sea route; connecting urban areas on both sides of Cua Luc Bay, opening up new development space in a sustainable direction, in line with the requirements of green growth and adapting to climate change.
The route also creates a highlight in terms of architectural space and landscape, contributing to attracting tourism development, creating momentum to promote socio-economic development.
