Ships from Bac Hai return to Ha Long Bay

Quang Ninh - This morning (November 14), ships from Beihai, Guangxi, China returned to Ha Long Bay, bringing more than 1,500 tourists.

This is the first ship trip back to Ha Long Bay in 2025. In 2024, the cruise ship on the Beihai - Ha Long route will officially restart after many years of interruption.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province went to Ha Long International Passenger Port, Bai Chay Ward, Quang Ninh Province to present flowers and welcome the tourist group to Quang Ninh.

The ship is expected to anchor at Ha Long International Ship Port until the afternoon of the same day, allowing tourists to visit Ha Long Bay and visit tourist attractions on the shore.

It is expected that in the 2025 - 2026 cruise season, there will be 9 cruise ships on the Beihai - Ha Long route.

In recent days, Ha Long Bay has continuously welcomed international super yachts, bringing thousands of tourists/trip.

On the morning of November 14, along with the Northern Sea cruise ship, there was also a Celebrity Solstice superyacht anchored at Ha Long International Passenger Port. The Celebrity Solstice ship entered Ha Long Bay yesterday (November 13.

On the morning of November 11, Ha Long International Passenger Port also simultaneously welcomed two luxury super yachts, including: Westerdam (Netherlands nationality) and Star Voyager ( Bahamas nationality), carrying more than 3,100 international tourists.

By the end of October 2025, Ha Long International Passenger Port has welcomed 44 international cruise ships, with a total of 56,647 visitors, an increase of 9% over the same period last year. Tourists mainly from Europe, the US and China, reflecting the strong recovery of the luxury travel segment.

It is expected that in November, the port will welcome 10 international ships and by the end of the year, the total number of ships arriving at the port will increase to 23, bringing about 32,000 visitors, bringing the total number of international cruise ship visitors in 2025 to nearly 90,000 visitors.

Since its official opening in 2018, Ha Long International Passenger Port has welcomed 209 luxury cruise ships, serving nearly 280,000 international visitors, contributing to raising the position of Vietnam's cruise ship tourism on the world map.
