Dai An Temple was built in the 19th century and is located in Mau A Commune, Lao Cai Province (An Thinh Commune, Van Yen District, old Yen Bai Province). This is an ancient temple associated with cultural history and many revolutionary values.
The temple was ranked as a provincial-level historical - cultural relic in 2013. The temple is located in the Dai An pagoda relic complex, close to the Red River bank, near the IC13 intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, adjacent to Provincial Road 166, near Mau A bridge, convenient for developing a cultural tourism chain in the upstream area of the Red River.


Information that Lao Cai province has just approved the investment policy for the project to restore and renovate Dai An Temple Historical - Cultural Relic, with a total estimated cost of over 104 billion VND, from socialized capital, has attracted the attention of many people.
Mr. Nguyen Tri Loc (in Mau A commune, Lao Cai province) - a close family, who has regularly attended festivals at Dai An temple for many years - confided that if it is restored and restored, the temple will be a place that attracts a large number of tourists and people to visit.


According to Mr. Loc, the temple is in an extremely favorable location, has a long history, and has a statue worshiping the mother of two thousand three (like Dong Cuong temple). When the temple is invested, many people will know, promising that in the future Dai An temple will become an attractive spiritual destination.
On December 15, Lao Dong noted that the temple is located in a small corner next to Dai An pagoda and has been built spaciously, right next to Provincial Road 166 and IC13 intersection.


The local government has leveled the temple grounds inside to prepare for the project. The surface faces the Red River, with an area of about 1ha.

The restoration and embellishment need to be carefully studied from the temple direction, worship layout to traditional materials, ensuring harmony between preserving identity and sustainable development.
Accordingly, the project has a scale of over 6,538 m2 including: main temple, left-of-way house, right-of-way house, temporary house, temporary house, temporary house, temporary house, management board house and other auxiliary works.



In which, the main temple is 243m2 wide, the architecture simulates Dong Cuong temple - a cultural symbol of the upper reaches of the Red River but has been adjusted to suit local conditions.
The total estimated investment is over 104 billion VND from socialized sources and other legal capital sources (100% of legally mobilized capital of domestic organizations and individuals). The project is expected to start construction on December 19.
