
The Thailand-Cambodia border war has entered its second day and Thailand has evacuated more than 100,000 people along the border with Cambodia.
The tense areas are near disputed temples such as Preah Vihear, Ta Moan Thom and Ta Krabey... located near the Thai-Cambodian border.
The Royal Thai Army has temporarily closed a number of border gates and neighboring tourist areas to ensure the safety of people and tourists.

In Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that citizens in Thailand and Cambodia comply with local regulations and should not go to areas with complicated security developments.
"Vietnamese citizens in the area need to monitor and strictly follow the regulations and instructions of local authorities, including not going to areas with complicated security developments," the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today issued a recommendation regarding the escalating tensions at the Thai - Cambodian border in the past two days.
Vietnamese citizens are advised to stay in touch with representative agencies in the two countries for support and updates on citizen protection if necessary.

The Indian Embassy in Thailand has issued a travel advisory, urging Indian citizens to update information and avoid some areas near the Thailand-Cambodia border as tensions between the two countries continue.
He recommends that tourists should not go to the border area if it is not really necessary. Note the risk of unexploded mines around Ta Krabey and Ta Moan Thom temples.
The US Embassy in Thailand has warned citizens to stay away from conflict areas.
Canada has urged citizens to be cautious as they approach the Cambodian border.
Australia recommends avoiding border crossings, which have been closed since June 24.
All border crossings between the two countries are now closed. Thailand has temporarily suspended tourism activities in provinces bordering Cambodia such as Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Sisaket and Buriram. Self-sufficient travel routes, package tours and trade were interrupted, according to TTW.
Tourists in Bangkok, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh said their schedules were slightly affected, security was tightened, but there was no significant impact on major tourist centers.
However, those planning to visit Koh Chang (Thailand) or Angkor Wat (Cambodia) by road should consider because traffic across the border has been temporarily suspended.
