After two storms No. 10 and No. 11, Cao Bang's tourism industry suffered heavy damage. According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province, the total estimated damage is nearly 1 billion VND.
Of which, the Tran Hung Dao National Special Relic Site was most seriously affected, with many new landslides, a deep subsided central yard and a landslide of about 15m, estimated damage of 300 million VND.

At Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area, rising water caused flooding in the fields and roads leading to the tourist area, damaging many landscape items, signs, flower pots, and a total damage of about 20 million VND.
Meanwhile, the central provincial stadium continued to be flooded 1.5 - 2m deep, collapsing the surrounding wall system, the mud-filled yard surface, equipment warehouse and electrical - lighting equipment. Some items have shown signs of subsidence and cracking, posing a potential risk of insecurity.
Not only public tourist attractions, many private accommodation and homestay facilities have also suffered heavy damage.

Recorded at cafe Nang (Hien River area), this facility has not been able to completely repair the charm facilities to welcome guests back. A section of the plastic road in front of the restaurant was destroyed by the flood.
Mr. Vu Viet Hung, owner of Homestay Luong Son Quan (Thuc Phan ward) - shared: "We were left empty-handed after two floods, losing everything. The flood receded, leaving only a pile of garbage, hoping for everyone's support to be able to rebuild from the beginning".
Although the storm has passed, the weather in Cao Bang is still complicated, many new landslides have appeared, causing many tourists to cancel their tours.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huyen (Hanoi) said: "Our group planned to go to Cao Bang from October 17 to 19, but because it was still raining and the road was often landslides, we decided to cancel the trip, accepting to lose half of the deposit".
Faced with the difficult situation, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province - said that the Department is directing tourism units and businesses to synchronously deploy solutions to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, with the goal of ensuring absolute safety and soon restoring tourism to normal operations.

In the immediate future, the industry will focus on reviewing, cleaning, comprehensively inspecting the infrastructure system, placing warning signs and general environmental sanitation in tourist areas and destinations.
In the long term, the Department will advise the Provincial People's Committee to propose a policy to support capital for damaged businesses, and at the same time launch a communication program "Safe and ready to welcome guests in Cao Bang" combined with a stimulus policy to attract tourists to return, creating motivation for rapid recovery and sustainable development of the local tourism industry.
