5 fireworks display locations for New Year's Eve 2026 in Hanoi are in Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung, Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Ha Dong wards.
The Hanoi People's Committee has issued a Plan to organize activities for the New Year 2026 and the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo. According to the plan, on the occasion of New Year's Day, the city will arrange 6 fireworks displays at 5 locations, with a duration of 15 minutes, starting from 11:45 p.m. on December 31, 2025 to the New Year's Eve on January 1, 2026.
Specifically, Hoan Kiem ward has 2 fireworks display locations, located in the area in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters and in front of the Hanoi Post Office.
The remaining fireworks display locations include Thong Nhat Park coconut island (Hai Ba Trung ward), F1 racetrack (Tu Liem ward), Lac Long Quan flower garden (Tay Ho ward) and Van Quan lake (Ha Dong ward).
On New Year's Eve, Hanoi organized the 2026 New Year's Eve Program (Countdown 2026) with the theme " Opening Real Connections 2". The Countdown 2026 event will take place from 7pm to 24am on December 31, 2025 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and Hoan Kiem Lake walking street space. The end of the program will be a vibrant countdown and brilliant fireworks.
