To serve the entertainment needs of the people during the Lunar New Year 2025, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province will organize 11 fireworks display locations including both high and low altitudes.
Two high-altitude fireworks display locations in Quang Ninh include: October 30 Square, Hong Hai Ward (Ha Long City) and Media and Culture Center Square (Mong Cai City).
In addition, 9 low-altitude fireworks display locations in Quang Ninh include:
- 12/11 Square, Cam Tay Ward, Cam Pha City.
- Park Lake belongs to Thanh Son and Quang Trung wards, Uong Bi city.
- Central square, Dong Trieu city.
- Underground bridge in Tien Yen town, Tien Yen district.
- Ha Quang Voc Monument, Dam Ha town, Dam Ha district.
- Ao Tien international port, Ha Long commune, Van Don district.
- Landscape campus by Ha Coi river, Hai Ha district.
- December 25 Square, Binh Lieu town, Binh Lieu district.
- Bac Luan II Border Gate Area, Mong Cai City.
Fireworks display duration is 15 minutes, from 0:00 - 0:15 on January 29.
The three localities of Quang Yen, Co To, and Ba Che will not organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve 2025.
Particularly at the Bac Luan II Border Gate Area, Mong Cai City, fireworks will be displayed from 11:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. on January 28.
High-altitude fireworks display at the Square of the Media and Culture Center of Mong Cai City from 0:00 to 0:15 (January 29, 2025).
As one of the famous tourist destinations in the country, Quang Ninh is expected to welcome tens of thousands of visitors, watch art performances, and go on tours during Tet.
