On New Year's Eve 2025, Hanoi Capital will have 6 locations with 5 fireworks display points in Hoan Kiem, Nam Tu Liem, Ha Dong districts, Son Tay town and Dong Anh district.
From 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024, Hanoi City Police will begin banning vehicles from circulating on some routes in the Hoan Kiem Lake area and vicinity.
At Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square area, traffic restrictions will be imposed at 7 locations:
Intersection No. 1: Le Thai To - Bao Khanh (strictly prohibited on Le Thai To street, from the wall on Le Thai To street to the edge of Hoan Kiem lake)
Traffic Intersection No. 2: Luong Van Can - Hang Hanh (strictly prohibited on Luong Van Can street)
Intersection No. 3: Luong Van Can - Hang Gai (Hang Gai street is strictly prohibited)
Intersection No. 4: Hang Dao - Gia Ngu (strictly prohibited on Hang Dao street)
Intersection No. 5: Dinh Liet - Cau Go (strictly prohibited on Cau Go street)
Intersection No. 6: Hoan Kiem Lake Street - Cau Go (strictly prohibited on Hoan Kiem Lake Street)
Intersection No. 7: Dinh Tien Hoang - Lo Su (strictly prohibited on Dinh Tien Hoang street from the wall on Dinh Tien Hoang street to the edge of Hoan Kiem lake)
