To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Hanoi will organize a fireworks display on the evening of April 27, 2025, in the live TV show "Forever the Tour of the Lake".
The program organizes 1 fireworks display location, 1 high-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude fireworks at the Thong Nhat Park Multi-purpose stage area, Le Dai Hanh ward, Hai Ba Trung district. The fireworks display is expected to be from 9:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on April 27.
Here, 600 high-altitude fireworks will be launched along with 90 low-altitude fireworks displays.
The fireworks display aims to create an exciting atmosphere, national pride, and solidarity among all classes of people in the capital to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over the implementation of fireworks displays and coordinate with the City Police to ensure security, order, social safety, fire prevention, as well as absolute safety before, during and after fireworks displays.
To watch high and low-altitude fireworks, people and tourists can gather in the central area of Thong Nhat Park and neighboring areas such as Le Duan Street, Dai Co Viet, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Tran Nhan Tong, Thien Quang Lake...
In addition, visitors can sit at cafes around the area to watch fireworks such as Joah, An Kinh Bac, Hanoian, Industry, Simee, O'DOUCEURS French Pastry & Bakery, S-Bean Coffee...
If traveling by car, visitors should go from Dai Co Viet gate, park for free in the park and choose a convenient location to watch the fireworks. You should go early to avoid crowds, and have a good view of the fireworks.
