On May 19, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the unit is coordinating with sectors and businesses to implement many digital transformation solutions in promoting OCOP products, traditional craft villages and local tourism.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, in 2026, the whole province has 674 OCOP products achieving 3 to 5 stars, ranking 3rd in the country in terms of product quantity. This is not only the result of the rural economic development process, but also contributes to bringing the cultural values and typical products of Thanh land closer to people and tourists.
However, in the context of digital transformation, the promotion and trade promotion for OCOP products and local tourism still have certain limitations. Many promotional contents on social networks are only at a level of quick access, easily skipped, and have not created deep interaction with viewers.
Faced with that reality, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have proactively coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to count and standardize data on craft villages and OCOP products; and integrate information on digital platforms to serve the work of advertising, searching and exploiting data.
In particular, the Provincial Police have advised the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with Goldsun Media Group to promote OCOP products, traditional craft villages, scenic spots and tourism events on a nationwide LED screen system. This approach contributes to expanding the media space, bringing Thanh Hoa's image to a wider public.
Along with that, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police continue to mobilize businesses to accompany the installation of touch screen systems and kiosks for searching at hotels, tourist areas and spots. Through these devices, tourists can find information about the history of landmarks, unique cultural features, OCOP products, traditional craft villages and local tourism products with just a few touch operations.
If previously, tourists who wanted to learn about a destination often had to ask local people, read leaflets or search for disjointed information on their phones, now many data have been brought back right at the accommodation and tourist destination. The content is presented in images and visual information, helping tourists easily access and have more experiences on their journey to explore Thanh land.
According to Thanh Hoa Police, the value of the model is not only in installing additional screens or kiosks for searching, but more importantly in creating an interactive experience for tourists. From the information accessed on the spot, many tourists can proactively go to relics, choose to buy local products or spend more time exploring the cultural story behind each destination.
With proactive, flexible and highly connected approaches, the Thanh Hoa Police force is contributing to promoting the formation of a digital promotion ecosystem for OCOP products, traditional craft villages and local tourism.
