On March 27, information from the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the Appraisal Council under the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism had just held a meeting to appraise the dossier requesting recognition of Kim Lien National Tourist Area (Nghe An province).
At the meeting, Council members comprehensively assessed the criteria according to regulations, including tourism resources, infrastructure, connectivity, management and development orientation.
The dossier is considered to be elaborately and fully prepared, clearly showing the potential and advantages of Kim Lien Tourist Area.
As a result, 100% of the Council members unanimously proposed that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism consider and decide to recognize Kim Lien National Tourist Area, Nghe An province.
The recognition of the National Tourist Area will be an important basis for Kim Lien to continue to promote its unique cultural and historical values, improve the quality of tourism products, and contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
