According to Condé Nast Traveler, many couples today want to find memorable honeymoons without spending too much money. However, with a reasonable plan, tourists can completely enjoy romantic journeys at famous destinations around the world while still saving costs.
To build the list, Condé Nast Traveler consulted with romantic travel experts including Alli Allen, Marina Artemova of Travel Edge and Claire B. Soares – founder of Caviar in the Air. From there, the magazine selected 15 honeymoon destinations with reasonable costs but still bringing memorable experiences to visitors.
In the list, Vietnam is mentioned as a suitable destination for couples who want to enjoy "true affordable luxury" - a luxurious resort experience at a reasonable cost.
Expert Claire B. Soares commented: "One of the most prominent honeymoon destinations in Vietnam is Da Lat, filled with French architecture and natural wonders. Visitors can visit Valley of Love, Lang Biang Mountain, pine forests or Ho Than Tho Lake. If you like the urban atmosphere, come to Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang with charming old quarters and streets brightly lit with lanterns.

According to experts, these are all suitable destinations to combine resort experiences, explore local culture and cuisine.
In addition to famous tourist cities, Cat Ba (Hai Phong) is also mentioned as an ideal stop to explore Ha Long Bay. Condé Nast Traveler describes this as the largest island in the bay, possessing pristine natural landscapes with most of the area being a national park. Among them, Cat Co 3 beach impresses with its fine sand, clear blue water and gentle waves, suitable for resort and swimming activities.
The magazine also introduces many high-class accommodation options in Vietnam such as Reverie Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, Stellar of the Seas cruise ship on Ha Long Bay or Anantara Quy Nhon Villas with beachfront villas. These locations are considered to bring luxurious resort experiences but prices are still easier to access than many other famous destinations in the world.
According to Condé Nast Traveler, the current honeymoon travel trend is not only aimed at luxury resorts but also prioritizes destinations with local experiences, beautiful nature and reasonable spending. The magazine believes that couples can completely enjoy their dream trip without spending too much if they have a suitable plan.
In addition to Vietnam, the list of 15 economical honeymoon destinations voted by Condé Nast Traveler also includes Siem Reap (Cambodia), Prague (Czech Republic), Tamarindo (Costa Rica), the Ozark Mountains (USA), Naples (Florida, USA), Cartagena (Colombia), Cappadocia (Turkey), Budapest (Hungary), Quintana Roo (Mexico), the Greek archipelago, Ambergris Island (Belize), western Puerto Rico, Dubrovnik – Split (Croatia) and Jackson Hole (Wyoming, USA).
