Thanh Hoa - On May 26th, Ham Rong Ward People's Committee organized the launch of the "Ham Rong Beauty Photo" and "Idea for Tourism Development and Creative Tourism Product in Ham Rong" contests.

The contest aims to promote images, landscapes, culture, and at the same time find new solutions and products to contribute to sustainable tourism development.

The Ham Rong beauty photo contest aims to select photos that truthfully reflect the beauty of natural landscapes, historical relics, customs, festivals, craft villages, culinary culture and tourism experience activities in the locality.

The organizing committee will select 50 typical photo works for display, and at the same time use them as a document warehouse to serve propaganda and promotion. Each author or group of authors can submit many entries, but the works must ensure creativity, have never won prizes in other competitions and do not infringe copyright.

For the tourism idea and product contest, the Organizing Committee emphasized new tourism development solutions such as: farmer experience, participating in cave exploration activities, mountain climbing, cycling to visit ancient villages, souvenir projects or local products.

Contested products must ensure creativity, ease of packaging, transportation, health safety and suitability for mass production conditions. The work needs to clearly present the reasons, purposes of implementation, market demand analysis, implementation plans for personnel, capital sources, promotion plans and effectiveness for socio-economic development.

The contest is for all Vietnamese citizens living and working in Vietnam, regardless of age. The time to receive entries lasts from the launch date to the end of September 30, 2026. Participants can submit directly at Ham Rong Ward People's Committee or send via post office (time is calculated according to the postmark of the sender). The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The judging panel will judge and select 10 tourism development ideas and 10 best tourism products from October 5th to 15th. The authors who advance to the next round will edit their works within 5 days (from October 20th to 25th) and send them back before November 5th to be posted on the Ham Rong ward's electronic information page to solicit broad opinions from the people.

At the launching ceremony, leaders of Ham Rong ward emphasized that entries and products need to ensure uniqueness, effectively exploit local potential and advantages, and create positive impacts on the community.
