Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that in the roadmap to expand international cooperation, towards sustainable tourism development, Da Nang and Daegu (Korea) have officially established tourism introduction and promotion points in each locality.

The implementation of bilateral tourism introduction points also closely follows the orientation in Plan No. 670/KH-SVHTTDL dated December 31, 2025 of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which emphasizes the requirement to innovate promotion methods, strengthen information exchange and promote the effectiveness of signed international cooperation relations.
Accordingly, tourism introduction points are considered an important component in the promotion ecosystem, contributing to maintaining the stable presence of destinations in key markets.
In Da Nang, the Daegu tourism introduction exhibition area is located at the City Tourism Promotion Center, providing information, publications and introducing strong tourism products such as medical tourism, MICE and international event series.
In the opposite direction, the Da Nang tourism introduction point at the Daegu Tourism Information Center focuses on highlighting the image of a dynamic sea destination, with product lines suitable for the Korean market such as resorts, golf, MICE, and unique cultural and culinary values. This parallel presence creates a stable promotion channel, contributing to promoting two-way visitor exchange.
Not only stopping at image introduction activities, the bilateral tourism introduction point model also opens up a regular connection channel between management agencies, businesses and the market. This is considered a specific step to bring cooperation content into depth, in line with Da Nang's international tourism development orientation in the new period.

With 35 international cooperation agreements signed, Da Nang is gradually shifting its focus from expanding the network to improving the quality of linkages. In which, Korea is one of the dynamic partners, with cooperative relationships established with many localities such as Daegu, Changwon, Gangwon and Gyeongsan, forming a multi-dimensional cooperation corridor from tourism promotion, cultural exchange to innovation.
Cooperation relations with Daegu are assessed as a substantive deployment model, when commitments are quickly concretized by specific activities. After the visit and working session of Acting Mayor of Daegu Kim Jeong-gi in Da Nang in January 2026, the establishment of bilateral tourism introduction points has become evidence of a flexible, direct and long-term cooperative approach.
It is expected that Da Nang tourism will participate in promotional and connection activities in Daegu in July 2026, thereby continuing to consolidate the presence of destinations in Korea - one of the city's key international markets.
