The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a list of cultural and festival activities on both sides of the Han River. Of these, there are 22 periodic activities and 57 annual activities.
Activities and festivals are arranged appropriately on weekdays as well as months of the year for the convenience of residents and tourists.
From February to September, every Saturday and Sunday there will be a Bai Choi singing activity. Every Friday night (2nd and 4th week of every month) there will be an Instrumental Concert. On the first Saturday of the month, there will be a "Danang music corner" music performance cluster.
At locations such as the eastern sidewalk of Nhu Nguyet Street, the landscape floor of the park on the eastern bank of Tran Thi Ly Bridge, and Bach Dang walking street, there will also be regular film screenings on the banks of the Han River, street music, the "music and life" art program, and a mobile library.
Some other programs such as street dances, street music, folk dances... or cultural reading festivals, film screenings... are held alternately on both sides of the Han River, Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao streets.
With annual activities, the city organizes them in accordance with the time frame and major holidays of the year. In January, there will be activities to welcome the New Year, Tet market...
The People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to adjust and organize the programs in a suitable, effective and diverse manner. The program lists are widely announced for the people and tourists to have information. Units participating in organizing the program are required to invest and innovate in both content and form, attracting people and tourists to move towards forming unique cultural products on both sides of the Han River.
