Accordingly, after a temporary postponement due to objective reasons, the closing program of Nha Trang International Bay of Light Festival 2024 will be held again at 7:00 p.m. on August 3 at the festival square, Vinpearl Harbor, Hon Tre island. , Nha Trang City.
Previously, the 2024 Nha Trang International Bay of Light Festival opened on the night of July 13, at April 2 Square (Nha Trang City). This is the first time Khanh Hoa has organized an international Drone light competition with the participation of 4 teams from Korea, China, France and the Arab Emirates (UAE).
At the opening ceremony, more than 100,000 people and tourists witnessed the Drone light competition live between the Korean and Chinese teams.
According to estimates by Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in July 2024, the whole province welcomed more than 1.5 million visitors, an increase of 24% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach 395,000, an increase of 61,000. 2% over the same period; Domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 1.1 million, an increase of nearly 14.9% over the same period. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 7,061.5 billion VND, up 21.9% over the same period.
To date, Khanh Hoa has welcomed more than 7 million visitors, with total revenue from tourists estimated at 33,108 billion VND, an increase of nearly 73.9% over the same period.
A series of events promoted and organized by Khanh Hoa have contributed to bringing this locality back to the track of spectacular tourism growth in 2024.
