Da Nang - The wedding of bride Shreya and groom Ayush (India) combines many traditional Indian rituals and local cultural experience activities.

On February 5, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that from February 2 to February 3, 2026, the wedding of bride Shreya and groom Ayush (India) was held in Da Nang with the participation of more than 250 guests.

The event took place solemnly, combining traditional rituals typical of India such as Gauri Pooja, Sehrabandi and Baraat, creating a wedding space rich in emotions and cultural imprints.

Implementing the program to attract wedding tourists to Da Nang in 2026, the city organized to welcome couples and delegations as soon as they arrived at Da Nang International Airport by projecting congratulatory messages on the LED screen system in the entry area. At the same time, it supported customs clearance of luggage and equipment serving the wedding ceremony.

Representatives of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center presented flowers, souvenirs and sent wishes, expressing their respect when the couple chose Da Nang for their big day.

In addition, the city supports the implementation of local cultural experience activities such as traditional folk instrument performances; in particular, the soundless fireworks display at the hotel is a new highlight of the 2026 Program, contributing to enhancing the experience and creating emotional impressions for the tourism wedding event.

Sharing their feelings on the big day, bride Shreya and groom Ayush said that the warm and thoughtful welcome of the city and meaningful gifts contributed to making the wedding more special. The beauty of the destination and the quality of professional tourism services of Da Nang really left a deep impression, which is the reason for them to introduce the city to friends as an ideal place to mark memorable moments.

The wedding event of the couple Shreya - Ayush is not only a milestone marking the beginning of Da Nang's wedding tourism activities in 2026 but also a testament to the direction of implementing the promotion program, attracting wedding tourists in a methodical, professional and experienced direction.

In 2026, the city will continue to promote the wedding tourism brand "Da Nang - The Origin of Happiness", focusing on supporting tourist groups to organize wedding ceremonies, honeymoons and related activities, thereby contributing to extending stay time and increasing tourist spending.

The new point of the 2026 Program is the adjustment of the scale of support in a flexible direction, in line with the current wedding organization trend; and at the same time expanding the content of support to the depth of experience, focusing on local cultural factors and personalizing services according to each customer market. In which, fireworks congratulations without explosions are considered a different highlight of Da Nang wedding tourism.

In parallel with that, the city strengthens public-private linkages, connects tourism businesses, wedding organizers and airlines, and promotes the application of digital technology in promotion and communication.

In 2025, Da Nang welcomed and supported more than 50 tourism wedding events from key markets such as the US, Australia, India and the Vietnamese community abroad. In the first quarter of 2026, many large hotels and resorts recorded demand and booked wedding venues.

This result shows that wedding tourism is gradually becoming a specialized tourism product, contributing to positioning Da Nang as an attractive wedding destination in the region, targeting the international and high-end customer segments.
