According to Travel Off Path, Asia is becoming an attractive destination with affordable living standards, majestic nature and rich culture.
Compared to other regions such as Southern Europe, Latin America or the Caribbean, Asia has a big advantage in terms of low cost of living, safety and diverse experiences.
Travel Off Path suggests must-do experiences in Da Nang, such as exploring charming beaches like My Khe, the pristine nature of Son Tra Peninsula and a series of adventure sports activities such as paragliding and jetskiing. All create a vivid picture, both relaxing and stimulating for digital nomads.
In addition, Da Nang also has Ba Na peak with Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, where visitors can admire the famous Golden Bridge, or relax at Linh Ung Pagoda - an ancient Vietnamese architectural work in a sacred space.
Living in Da Nang is affordable for a digital nomad, with the average rent costing around $355.33. A bowl of pho costs an average of $1.58 and a three-course menu at a fancy beachside restaurant costs $24.62.
Michelin Guide has also chosen Da Nang as a culinary destination in 2025. In January 2025, Michelin Guide announced a list of 10 attractive destinations in 2025 for tourists who love both food and exploration. In particular, in the Asian region, Michelin Guide suggested Da Nang as a must-visit place in 2025.
With the launch of the Michelin Guide in Da Nang in June 2024, Da Nang is the third city in Vietnam to be listed by the world's leading culinary guide with its unique seafood and rich regional cuisine.
Currently, there are 36 restaurants and eateries in Da Nang listed in the Michelin Guide, including 16 restaurants listed in the Bid Gourmands (reasonable price), one restaurant with one Michelin star, and one restaurant with a green Michelin star.
