From January 10 to January 13, a famtrip delegation of 25 representatives of travel agencies in the Philippines came to survey tourist routes in Da Nang City and the Central region.
This is one of the activities in the plan to promote the development of direct flights from Manila (Philippines) - Da Nang operated by Cebu Pacific Air with a frequency of 7 flights/week and charter flights operated by Royal Air with a frequency of 1 flight every 4 days.
In 2023 and 2024, Da Nang tourism industry has had many tourism promotion activities in this market such as: organizing a program to introduce Da Nang tourism in Manila; welcoming famtrip, presstrip and KOL delegations from the Philippines to visit, experience and promote Da Nang tourism.
Also during the period from January 13 to 20, Da Nang welcomed a famtrip delegation of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) including 6 representatives of travel companies in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to visit and survey Da Nang, contributing to bringing the image and destination of Da Nang closer to tourists in countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
At the same time, the survey trip provides an opportunity to promote exchanges and cooperation between Da Nang tourism businesses and travel companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, preparing for flights from Astana and Almaty to Da Nang scheduled for the end of March 2025.
Possessing diverse tourism products, from beach resorts, shopping, entertainment, culinary tourism to festivals and special events, Da Nang city has become a favorite destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
Da Nang has continuously received high ratings from international tourism organizations such as: the city was honored as "Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination", "Top 11 Best Destinations in Asia"; and recently, Time Out Magazine (UK) included Da Nang in the list of 8 most worth-visiting destinations in Asia in 2025, and Michelin Guide chose Da Nang as a culinary destination in 2025.
Since the beginning of 2025, the Department of Tourism has implemented many activities such as welcoming the first international flight and cruise ship to Da Nang on January 1, 2025, welcoming famtrip groups and international bloggers to Da Nang to survey and experience, expected in the first quarter of 2025.
