With many potentials and advantages, Da Nang is eligible to become a leading medical tourism center in the Central region and the whole country. Because, the city converges the development system, high quality medical human resources, and facilities, transport infrastructure, modern tourism.
Da Nang also owns rich natural resources, unique culture and fresh living environment - important factors that create the attraction for the type of tourism associated with health care. However, in fact, the medical tourism model in Da Nang is still in the starting stage and has not really had a close link between the fields.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong - Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee said that this is the right time for the city to position Da Nang in the development of medical tourism.

At the seminar, Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee asked the units to share experiences, ideas and solutions from experts, domestic and international models. The seminar is also an opportunity to connect stakeholders such as health, tourism, investment, communication and government to build a sustainable development orientation for this field.
From there, the units will have many initiatives that are concretized into specific action programs and projects, contributing to shaping a typical medical tourism model of Da Nang city, with its own identity and competitive on the national and regional medical tourism map.
