Da Nang promotes tourism in Ahmedabad in India

On February 17, the Da Nang Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietjet Air to organize a tourism introduction to Da Nang in Ahmedabad city, Gujarat state, India.

The Da Nang tourism introduction program in Ahmedabad, India aims to promote tourism development cooperation between Da Nang and Ahmedabad through Vietjet Air's direct flight connection, while enhancing communication and promoting the "Thendien Dien Da Nang Multi-Experience" journey to Indian tourists.

The program includes many activities such as business connection space, showing films to promote Da Nang tourism, introducing information about the Ahmedabad - Da Nang direct flight route, and tourism products and services of Da Nang, Vietnam.

21 tourism businesses from Da Nang and Vietnam accompanying the program have directly introduced new tourism products, suitable to the needs and preferences of Indian tourists, while contributing to completing the picture of "Da Nang multi-experience".

With the identification of India as one of the potential markets, Da Nang tourism is focusing on tourists' tastes and experiences to make Da Nang a friendly and attractive destination for Indian tourists.

Ms. Huynh Thi Huong Lan - Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center said that since 2022, India has risen to become in the top 5 major international tourist markets of Da Nang. Accordingly, for every two Indian tourists coming to Vietnam, one person chooses Da Nang as their destination.

According to Ms. Lan, based on the tastes of the Indian tourist market and market connection activities, Da Nang tourism has been perfecting product packages, services and incentive programs for MICE tourism and wedding tourism to bring convenience and satisfaction to tourists.

Programs to attract MICE tourists and weddings for groups of 50 people and above, applied from 2022, are pioneering activities to help Da Nang develop strongly in the Indian market as well as other international markets.
