Da Nang earns VND2,200 billion from tourism, a series of 4-5 star hotels are full during the holidays

Da Nang - Da Nang tourism industry earned more than 2,200 billion VND during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year.

On September 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that the total number of visitors and tourists in Da Nang during the National Day holiday on September 2 reached more than 620,000, an increase of 24% over the same period in 2024.

Notably, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 168,000, an increase of 49%; domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 452,000, an increase of 17%. Total tourism revenue reached more than VND 2,200 billion, up 28% over the same period in 2024.

The average room occupancy rate of Da Nang City is about 55-60%. Of which, the capacity of 4-5 star block and equivalent reached 65-70%; many 4-5 star hotels in An Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son ward, Hoi An Dong ward, Hoi An reached a capacity of over 80%.

Also according to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, from August 29 to September 2, the total flight to Da Nang Airport is 687 flights, with an average frequency of 137 flights/day. The total number of flights to Chu Lai airport is 34, equivalent to the same period in 2024.

It is expected that on September 3, Da Nang City will welcome the Star Voyager cruise ship with 1,500 tourists to visit the city.

During this ceremony, Da Nang City will organize fire spraying at Dragon Bridge for 5 consecutive nights from August 29 to September 2 to serve the people and tourists.
