Da Nang City has started construction of a social housing project in Hoa Hiep 4 resettlement area (located on land plots B4-1, B4-2, Me Linh street, in Hai Van ward and Lien Chieu ward), commercial name is Ecohome Hoa Hiep, with a total investment of more than VND 2,125 billion on August 28.
The groundbreaking of the Ecohome Hoa Hiep project is an important event to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2; aiming to celebrate the 23rd Da Nang City Party Congress.
Hoa Hiep 4 resettlement area has an area of about 4.2 hectares, including 3 buildings, with a scale of 1,476 social housing apartments. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2029.
The goal is to bring a comfortable living space, a green, clean environment with reasonable selling prices, creating conditions for workers in Da Nang city to access.
It is known that in addition to social housing, the project has arranged an additional commercial housing area for sale at market prices to cover costs, thereby contributing to reducing selling prices, rental prices and management and operation costs of social apartments.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam - Director of the Department of Construction of Da Nang City - said that the city is in a period of strong development, rapid urbanization, the housing demand of workers, laborers and low-income people is increasing.
According to the Government's assigned targets, in the 2025 - 2030 period, Da Nang City after the merger needs to complete nearly 29,000 social housing apartments. This is a big task but also very humane, demonstrating the concern of the Party, State and city government for people's lives.
Previously, the Department of Construction announced the opening of social housing for sale at blocks A and B of the An Trung 2 apartment project for low-income people (An Hai Nam ward, Son Tra). The project has a total of 633 apartments allowed to be sold on the market, block A has 288 apartments and block B has 345 apartments. The project has a scale of 3 apartment blocks with a total of 957 apartments. Block A has 18 floors, block B has 15 floors and block C has 12 floors.
In February 2025, the Department of Construction also announced the opening of 250 apartments for sale at the social housing apartment project at lot B4-1, in Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area.
Da Nang City has completed the social housing apartment project for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street (Ngu Hanh Son Ward) with 209 units put into use, and when phase 2 is completed, there will be 191 more units.

At the same time, there is also an apartment project for low-income people in Dai Dia Bao Resettlement Area - block C.
Other projects such as the social housing project at apartment land No. 3 in area B - Nam Cau Cam Le Residential Area and the social housing project at apartment land No. 5 in area B - Nam Cau Cam Le Residential Area (1,5955 apartments) are also being urgently completed to evaluate bidding documents, submit to the Department of Finance for appraisal of investor selection results and strive to start the project in December 2025...
