On the evening of July 23, at Bien Dong Park, the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2026 (Enjoy Danang Festival 2026) officially opened. With the theme "Da Nang - Touching the Original", the event opened a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism activities taking place from July 22 to 26.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee emphasized: "With the theme "Da Nang - Touching the Original", this year's festival wishes to bring each person back to the true values of nature, culture and people of Da Nang. That is the beauty of the blue sea, the stretching sandy beaches, the peaceful rhythm of life of the coastal city, the friendliness and hospitality of the people and the cultural values preserved and continued in the modern development flow.
According to Ms. Thi, Da Nang will continue to invest in developing unique tourism products, improve service quality, build a safe, civilized, and friendly tourism environment. At the same time, promote innovation, digital transformation and strengthen development linkages, so that Da Nang is always an attractive destination, a place where tourists want to come, want to return and want to introduce to domestic and international friends.
This year's festival takes place in 5 days with a series of themed experience spaces, lasting from early morning to late at night, helping visitors easily access and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.
Country Market Culinary Space (5pm - 10:30pm daily at Bien Dong Park): A place to introduce the culinary quintessence of Quang region, while recreating the cultural space of rural villages, traditional craft villages and rustic indigenous life.
Da Nang Sea Enjoyment Road (6pm - 10pm from July 23 to July 26): Coastal art space using rustic materials such as basket boats, fish nets, bamboo and lanterns to create installation decoration clusters. The highlight here is the Light Kite Night with about 500 brightly lit kites in the night sky of My Khe beach.
Sea light gala dinner (7pm - 10pm from July 24 to July 26): The city's new nightlife tourism product, combining music, artistic light and local cuisine in a romantic night sea space.
Besides quiet spaces, visitors can also directly participate in practical experience activities such as: Welcoming the dawn fish market at Man Thai beach, experiencing quiet meditation at Linh Ung Pagoda, practicing yoga to welcome the dawn by the sea, or participating in a journey to explore Son Tra peninsula.
One of the new features of this year's festival is the introduction of technology into experiences through the "Digital Journey to Explore Da Nang". With interactive challenges on digital platforms and at actual destinations, visitors have an additional dynamic and personalized experience method of city exploration itinerary.
Along with the festival, the summer tourism stimulus program and the eco-tourism and cultural experience tour system lasting from June to August will continue to serve tourists, expanding the exploration space from the city center to neighboring heritage areas.
