Up to now, the Management Board of Tuyen Lam National Tourist Area has completed many important contents such as preparing and approving contractor selection plans, signing contracts with consulting units and being allocated funds to implement the work of preparing, appraising, and approving projects. Based on the approved planning tasks, the consulting unit has also completed the draft plan.
In parallel with the project development process, the Management Board has organized many meetings to urge progress, and at the same time collect opinions from departments, branches, localities, businesses and people.
As of mid-July 2026, opinions from many departments, branches, localities, businesses and people's opinions have been received. Planning documents have also been sent to request opinions from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
During the review process, the Management Board identified a number of difficulties that need to be further addressed, including the difference in area, boundaries between projects, changes in regulations on construction density according to new standards and obstacles related to forestry planning, affecting development orientation and investment attraction.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized that the development of the General Plan of Tuyen Lam National Tourist Area is an important task to create a basis for forming new tourism products, improving the quality of local tourism. He requested that the project must be built in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring feasibility and creating long-term development space.
According to the leader of the Provincial People's Committee, the planning dossier still has some contents that need to be further completed before submitting them to competent authorities for consideration. Therefore, the Management Board proposed extending the planning time to continue updating data on land, forestry planning and completing professional contents.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Management Board to develop a deployment plan with specific progress milestones; closely coordinate with consulting units to review, supplement, and complete the work of assessing the current status and inheriting previously approved plans.
At the same time, it is necessary to comprehensively assess the implementation of projects, clarify the reasons for delays, and review the current status of land use in residential areas to propose appropriate handling plans.
