On July 2nd, the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center announced that it will coordinate with the Photography and Application Cooperative (PPAC) to organize the Photo Trip 2026 program - "Touching the Origin - Return to Origins", taking place from July 1st to 4th.
The program aims to spread the beauty of Da Nang through the art of photography.
The program gathers photographers from many provinces and cities across the country, including many authors who have won prestigious photography awards at home and abroad, owning many works that have been exhibited in Vietnam and many countries around the world.
Each person carries a unique writing style, but they all meet in the desire to preserve authentic moments and tell stories about Da Nang from an emotional perspective.
The highlight of Photo Trip 2026 is the presence of "storytellers" - craft village artisans, simple, honest workers and faces imbued with Vietnamese soul.
Each character carries their own story, directly participating in each creative setting, recreating traditional craft stages, simple labor moments and the rhythm of everyday life preserved through many generations.
Not only are they characters in the frame, each person is also a piece of memory, culture and local identity.
It is the harmony between storytellers and those who preserve moments that will create emotional works, where each photo not only records a beautiful moment but also tells a story about the people, culture and original values of Da Nang.
Through the creative journey at typical destinations and unique cultural spaces, the program expects to bring a new perspective on Da Nang - not only a city of blue sea, iconic bridges or modern resorts, but also a place where traditional craft villages are still preserved, cultural values are still continued and ordinary people still write the story of the city every day.
Each work created from the journey will become a "communication ambassador", contributing to spreading the image of Da Nang to the public and domestic and international tourists in the most powerful language – the language of emotions.
Photo Trip 2026 - Touching the original | Return to Origins not only records the beauty of the destination, but also preserves the stories that make up the identity of Da Nang land and people.
