On May 4, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that in the first quarter of 2025, the province welcomed about 700,000 tourists, including more than 16,500 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism reached more than 600 billion VND, nearly double compared to the same period in 2024.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, the highlight attracting tourists in recent times is the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival and a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory and Liberation of Dak Lak Province (March 10, 1975).
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang, a tourist from Hue, shared that he arrived in Dak Lak right on the occasion of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival. This year, the festival was organized very methodically and elaborately, with diverse and rich activities.
Mr. Quang said: "If Dak Lak province continues to promote and develop more typical tourism products, it will attract more and more domestic and foreign tourists."
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, in the remaining months of 2025, the locality will continue to implement many tourism promotion activities.
In particular, Dak Lak will maintain regular gong cultural performances twice a month, hosting regional and national sports competitions. The locality also constantly innovates tourism products to enhance the experience for tourists.
