On April 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province informed that during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays, it is forecasted that the number of tourists coming to the side will increase.
Localities in the province are completing preparations for events to serve domestic and foreign tourists.
For example, the "Dak Lak Hot Air Ball 2025 - flying over the big thousand" festival will be held from May 1, 2025 to May 3, 2025 with many attractive activities.
This special cultural event took place at the Buon Don - Lang Chua Tourist Area (Krong Na commune, Buon Don district), with the appearance of about 20 hot air balloons.
Visitors will be able to fly up to the Central Highlands sky, admiring Yok Don National Park with its vast forests and majestically flowing Serepok River.
Visitors can also admire the rustic stilt houses hidden between the great city and the vivid picture of the indigenous ethnic community.
According to the survey, up to now, some hotels and accommodation facilities in Dak Lak province have been fully booked and no longer accept more guests.
Tourist areas and destinations in the province have been completing preparations to ensure safety for tourists when coming to visit, have fun, and relax.
Statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province show that the total revenue from tourism in the whole province in April 2025 is estimated at 123 billion VND, an increase of 65.21% over the same period in 2024.
The total number of visitors is estimated at 130,000, an increase of 55.29% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors were 6,000, an increase of 93.87%.
Accumulated in the first 4 months of 2025, the total revenue from tourism in the province is 722 billion VND, reaching 45.13% of the plan. The total number of visitors is estimated at 830,000, reaching 46% of the plan.
