On May 25, news from the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that the unit has coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to review suitable routes to deploy 2-story open-top bus operations to serve tourists.
Previously, the Department of Construction proposed that the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee agree on the policy of opening a tourist bus route using 2-story open-top cars.
The planned bus route operates in a circular form, departing from the Vega City Project (That Theater) to the alley area 86 Tran Phu and then turning back in the opposite direction, with a total distance of about 12km.
According to the proposed plan, the bus route operates from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily, except for peak hours from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Mining vehicles with a minimum of 2 vehicles and a maximum of 4 vehicles using electricity or green energy.
Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Le Huyen said that putting the 2-story open-top bus route into operation will contribute to diversifying transport services to serve tourists, creating new tourism products, and at the same time increasing the rate of public passenger transport and promoting local tourism development.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee agreed to add this bus route according to the proposal of the Department of Construction to serve as a basis for calling for and selecting investors.
At the same time, provincial leaders requested the Department of Construction to complete legal bases, coordinate with the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police and relevant localities to survey the actual route to develop a set of criteria for selecting suitable investors.
