On the evening of December 31, 2025, Nghe An organized a New Year's Eve 2026 program and New Year's Eve fireworks display at Anh Sang Square, VinWonders Cua Hoi (Cua Lo ward). This is the only official high-altitude fireworks display point of the province during the New Year.
According to the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the program includes art performances, countdown rituals and high-altitude fireworks lasting about 15 minutes, taking place in the transition period from 2025 to 2026, expected to attract a large number of people and tourists.
In the afternoon of December 31st, the technical force completed the installation of fireworks positions, connection of control systems, arrangement of launch pipes and inspection of firecracker sealing in accordance with technical procedures.
Preparation work was urgently deployed but strictly controlled, ensuring absolute safety for explosives before handing over to the night shooting operations department.
Before the fireworks display, the New Year's art program at VinWonders Cua Hoi was staged with a large-scale stage, gathering singers, DJs, rappers, dance troupes and artists from Nghe An Traditional Arts Center.
The organization of New Year's Day 2026 fireworks displays at Cua Lo aims to create cultural and tourism highlights at the end of the year, and at the same time open the 2026 tourist season of Nghe An and the North Central region, contributing to promoting the local image and attracting tourists during the New Year holiday.
