Go to traditional Korean markets, wear hanbok at VITM Hanoi 2025

The Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam (KTO Vietnam) brings many unique experiences when attending the VITM 2025 International Tourism Fair in Hanoi.

At the booth of VITM Hanoi Fair 2025, KTO Vietnam will introduce to visitors not only useful information about Korean travel but also many unique cultural experiences such as: Going to traditional markets like Koreans; wearing traditional Korean Hanbok; Publishing free travel books... At the same time, more than 300 gifts will be given to visitors when buying tours to Korea...

"Coming to VITM this year, KTO has many new experience spaces with some different activities compared to previous years. We hope that visitors will love KTO Vietnam's booth, as well as receive many useful and interesting information about traveling to Korea and choosing Korea for their upcoming trip.

We also hope that, through this exhibition, we will contribute to the success of Korean tourism in the Vietnamese market in 2025 - Ms. Park Eun Jung - Chief Representative of the General Department of Korean Tourism in Vietnam said.

According to statistics, in 2024, Korea welcomed nearly 510,000 Vietnamese tourists and made Vietnam the second largest country with tourists to Korea in Southeast Asia, after the Philippines with more than 515,000 visitors.

That same year, Vietnam welcomed nearly 4.6 million Korean visitors, leading the international tourism markets to Vietnam. 2024 marks the first time the number of two-way tourists exchanged between Vietnam and Korea has exceeded 5 million.

In the first 3 months of 2025, Korea welcomed 134 thousand Vietnamese visitors to Korea, an increase of 22.7% over the same period in 2024 and an increase of 23.2% over the same period in 2019, and is expected to increase even more as Korea is entering the spring flower season.

Since the beginning of 2025, continuing the successes achieved, KTO has focused on promoting and advertising tourism programs as well as supporting the development of new and unique Korean tourism products in the Vietnamese market such as: K-Culture Tour - culture exploration product lines (Korean Culture Tour combined with destinations imbued with Korean culture including K-Pop, K-Drama, K-Beauty, K-Fashion, K-Performace), Korea Premium Tour - high-end Korean travel experience product line or SIT Product line - travel according to preferences, E-sports e-sports Sports Tour, Long-distance cycling tour...

In addition, KTO Vietnam continues to cooperate with nearly 20 leading tourism companies in Vietnam to support product development to bring Vietnamese customers the most attractive experiences when coming to Korea, meeting the increasing needs and tastes of Vietnamese tourists.
