Fireworks display location to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 in Dong Thap

Dong Thap - The art and fireworks display is expected to take place on the evening of September 2 at Hung Vuong Square, Dao Thanh Ward.

Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that on the morning of August 26, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan had a working session with relevant departments and branches to listen to reports on preparations to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Dong Thap province.

At the meeting, a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province said that for the celebration meeting program, the Department has directed affiliated units to develop an art program and deploy the installation of sound and lighting systems to serve the event.

Up to now, the basic installation has been completed; the basic art program has been completed.

For the art program to celebrate and fireworks, the Department is coordinating with relevant units to implement. According to the Plan, the art and fireworks display is expected to take place on the evening of September 2, at Hung Vuong Square, Dao Thanh Ward.

The fireworks display will be launched with 120 low-altitude fireworks displays, lasting 15 minutes.

Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan emphasized that the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 are important political events with profound significance. Therefore, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant units to be urgent, proactive, and well prepared.

Mr. Tuan assigned Dong Thap Provincial Police to coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to develop and deploy a plan to ensure security, order, and traffic safety before, during and after the event.
