On January 1, 2025, visitors can admire a unique phenomenon that only happens once a year. That is the moment when the setting sun "falls" right in the middle of the Kissing Bridge in the south of Phu Quoc Island.
When creating the bridge, the team of architects carefully studied the path of the sun throughout the year, so that every first day of the new year (1.1), the sunset will fall exactly 30 cm between the two branches of the bridge.
This moment will create a magical picture between the beauty of nature and the creativity of man. This is what makes many tourists come to Phu Quoc to not miss the opportunity that only happens once a year and hunt for this unique moment.
Since its launch in late 2023, Cau Hon - a pedestrian bridge on the sea in Hoang Hon town, Phu Quoc has become a new tourism symbol for the Pearl Island. This bridge, which has been praised by CNN (USA), will make lucky visitors admire a strange statue. CNN (USA) calls Cau Hon the destination of kissing. The major Italian newspaper La Stampa praises Cau Hon as the place with the most sensual sunset in the world. And Travel Weekly of Australia favors calling Cau Hon "Vietnam's new iconic destination".
Sunset at the Kissing Bridge is also a special experience with the Awaken Sea show. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant music and acrobatics of the world's top jetski & flyboard athletes.
In addition to “hunting” for the sunset moment that only happens once a year, visitors to Cau Hon can also enjoy a very special New Year's Eve experience. At 7:45 p.m. every day, Cau Hon is one of the best places to watch the show “Symphony of the Sea”.
The highlight is the artistic fireworks fired from jetskis, flyboards and water fireworks - a special type of fireworks that only explode when touching the water screen, creating a symphony of light erupting from the ocean.
Coming to Sunset Town, every day is "New Year's Eve", because after the fireworks display from the Symphony of the Sea show, visitors will continue to watch the high-altitude fireworks display after the Kiss of the Sea show at 9:30 p.m., with more than 100 unique fireworks effects, lighting up the sea and sky of Phu Quoc every night.
