Ho Chi Minh City - To hunt for the sunrise at sea, many tourists have come to the foot of the earth reaching out to the sea in Vung Tau from 3 am to prepare.

On January 11, quite a few tourists came to Vung Tau (HCMC) to have fun and explore during the weekend holiday. A significant number of tourists, mainly young people, chose to come to Mui Nghinh Phong area (Vung Tau ward) to drink coffee and welcome the dawn of the new day.

From about 3 am, the vacant land on Nghinh Phong Cape was almost packed with customers. Groups of young people who arrived early quickly chose beautiful locations. Some groups sipped hot coffee and chatted excitedly; some groups used phones, played games... and waited for the sunrise on the beach, in the cold atmosphere of the first days of the new year.

Ms. Ngoc, a tourist, said that she had previously learned that this is a quite famous sunrise spot in Vung Tau, so she took the opportunity to wake up early to experience the trip.

I don't think it's just past 3 am and there are already quite a lot of people like that. The weather is quite favorable when it's only chilly and cool, the air on the tip of the earth protruding out to the sea is quite bustling and joyful," Ms. Ngoc commented.

However, due to the early morning weather with a lot of fog on the sea, the sunrise scene did not appear as beautiful as many people expected. But this did not reduce the excitement of tourists.

Mr. Toan, from Dong Nai, and a group of friends plan to move and check-in after welcoming the sunrise. “We will visit and check-in at some other points in Vung Tau such as Tam Thang tower, Bai Truoc, Con Heo Hill... before leaving Vung Tau. Although today's sunrise was not as expected, it was quite wonderful,” Mr. Toan said.

Some tourists also said that they will return on another occasion in the summer to be able to fully admire the sunrise on the sea, and experience other destinations in the Vung Tau area.
